How can I get a job?
You must apply for the vacancy and if your candidacy fits employer requirements they will contact you directly.
Do you have any open vacancy?
Please note that NextShip is not an employer but a sea-job search platform. Employers post vacancies on our platform every day so you can miss your chance if you don’t search for it on every day basis. Also, we have an Early Access function that can help you to be aware of newly posted vacancies.
Do you have deck cadet position?
Please note NextShip is not the employer but an internet sea job platform. Please search for the vacancy you need and if you don’t find it, no worries, as employers post vacancies every day.

NextShip is an internet sea-job search platform registered in USA.
I registered and attached my docs and licenses but don’t see them in my profile.
As soon as our managers check your documents, they will become visible in profile.
How to delete or erase personal data from the NEXTSHIP LLC database to stop receiving proposals or newsletters?
To stop receiving newsletters and proposals, you can manage your notification settings by going to your profile:
How to upload or attach a CV on NEXTSHIP LLC?
To upload and send your CV to NextShip, go to the main page: https://nextship.net
At the top of the page, you will see a “Send CV” button. Click it to open the form, enter your email (if not logged in), select your CV file from your device, and click “Send”.
How can I change the email address linked with my NextShip profile?
To change your email address, please log in with your current email, go to “Settings”, then “Security”, and use the “Change Email” form to update your email address.
Is there a feature in the NextShip application that allows applicants to see if their profiles have been viewed by shipowners or crewing officers?
Use Activity Tracking service to see the names of companies that have shown interest in your profile, viewed it or added.

Please note that Activity Tracking is a paid feature. It allows users to see which companies have viewed or expressed interest in their profile. To activate it, go to the “Store” section in your profile:

You have to log in on your profile to see messages in NextShip chat

To change/upload photo log in to your account, go to section Profile – General data
How can a seafarer search and apply for a job?
To search for a job, use NextShip filter, enter rank/position, vessel type, etc. Note: Apply button is inactive until you fill up your profile.
How to resolve login issues or unable to log in to NEXTSHIP LLC?"
Press “Forgot password” and follow the instructions

Press sign up and register on NextShip platform
I cannot create my account, I received a warning message saying 'use link from e-mail'. What link do I have to use to complete registration?
After creating the profile on NextShip platform you will receive the link on your email. Just confirm the link you received on your email you have specified by pressing on it and get full access to your profile
How can I find a vessel by name when adding my experience in NextShip LLC application?
We have a vast ship database. However if you fail to find the ship try to find by her IMO#. If you still can not find it contact support.
How can I change or edit my rank in my profile in the NEXTSHIP LLC application?
Go to menu, section General.
Why are my uploaded pictures showing as pending in my profile and how can I resolve this?
If you see your uploaded docs as pending do not worry. Our managers checking them up. It may take time as we have a large amount of seafarers registering on the platform.
How can I apply for a job through the Nextship app?
First, you must fill up your profile to activate APPLY button. After that you can apply for the vacancy.
How can I add or update my work experience on the NextShip platform?
Go to Menu, Documents section, Work experience.
Why am I not receiving calls from companies after applying through NextShip?
If you don’t receive calls from companies after applying it means you don’t fit their requirements.
Just try to apply for other vacancies.
How do I report missing or incorrect vessel information, such as sister vessels or engine types, to be corrected or added in the NextShip LLC system?"

You can apply for as many positions as you want.
How can I receive job notifications for positions such as ordinary seaman trainee or ordinary seaman in the Nextship LLC application?
Use Early Access Service to be among the first to be notified about the latest vacancies.
What should I do if my position or other details are displayed incorrectly on my NextShip profile after submitting my documents?
If you want to edit your profile, go to menu, General section.
Is there a NextShip LLC mobile application available for seafarers?
